OCTT Web Site Wins National Television Programming Award

(Washington, DC) The District of Columbia's Office of Cable Television and Telecommunications (OCTT) has been awarded the National Association of Telecommunications Officers and Advisors' (NATOA) 2006 First Place Award honoring the nation's outstanding "Government Access Station Web Site." This prestigious award was made to OCTT at the conclusion of NATOA's annual nation-wide municipal television programming competition. The winners of the various categories of this national competition were announced on August 25, 2006 in Orlando, Florida at NATOA's 21st Annual Government Programming Awards Ceremony.

NATOA's Annual Government Programming Awards recognize excellence in broadcast, cable, multimedia and electronic programming developed by local government agencies. NATOA received over one thousand one hundred (1,100) competition entries from municipalities located across the country, and it made its awards in sixty-three categories.
