Washington Full Circle on OCTT TV-16

(Washington, D.C.) To herald the start of the New Year, the District of Columbia Office of Cable Television and Telecommunications (OCTT) announces the addition of our newest program, Washington Full Circle, to our schedule.

Washington Full Circle - a high-energy, fast paced, entertaining and informative program - will give OCTT TV-16 viewers an all-access backstage pass to ALL things Washington. From music to theatre, fashion, travel, nightlife and everything in between, Washington Full Circle will highlight the latest trends in Washington, D.C.’s people, places, things and so much more…

Hosted by OCTT’s award winning Senior Producer Ferman Patterson and a team of correspondents, Washington Full Circle will incorporate a lively mix of regular features that will take OCTT TV-16 viewers to a home-grown Washington that must be seen and seen again. Producer Patterson recently remarked “never before has D.C. created so many new places to see and experience. Exciting things are happening in neighborhoods all over the city and this program will be a captivating guide for all Washingtonians.”

OCTTActing Director and Washington Full Circle Executive Producer Eric E. Richardson announced “we’ve discovered and revisited a number of amazing places and spaces in Washington, D.C. and hope that this production will be seen as not only an entertaining half hour but as a tool and resource for residents, tourist and tastemakers.” Richardson further emphasized “we've also had a lot of fun along the way, and we hope that the OCTT TV-16 audience will enjoy this video tour as much as we have enjoyed making Washington Full Circle a reality.”

Washington Full Circle will premier on OCTT TV-16 on Monday, January 22, 2007 at 8:00 pm, and subsequently be presented on OCTT TV-16 every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 8:00 pm. For a sneak peak, Washington Full Circle will be available for on-demand viewing on the OCTT website www.octt.dc.gov beginning Friday, January 19, 2007.

OCTT is the District Government Agency that manages the District’s Government Access Channel’s OCTT TV-16 and OCT TV-13. The mission of OCTT TV-16 is to provide information regarding the many programs, services and opportunities made available by the District of Columbia Government. The mission of OCT TV-13 is to provide gavel-to-gavel coverage of the live and recorded activities of the D.C. City Council and its various committees. Together these two channels are intended to provide District of Columbia residents access to the activities and processes of their government.
