Office of Cable Television Captures Three Telly Awards
Washington,
DC - The District of Columbia Office of Cable Television (OCT) has won three
(3) 2011 Telly Awards in a national awards competition that honors the very best
local, regional, and cable television commercials and programs; as well as, the
finest video and film productions, and work created for the Web. OCT collected
one (1) First Place Awards and two (2) Second Place Awards. OCT's
Enslavement to Emancipation captured a First Place Award in the category of TV
Programs/Documentary. OCT's Washington Full Circle "Feel Like a Kid Again"
nabbed a Second Place Award in the category of TV Programs/Entertainment; and
OCT's Cable Talk "PEG Channels" picked up a Second Place Award in the
category of TV Programs/Information. Washington
Full Circle continues its winning streak acquiring a grand total of five awards
thus far in national competition; Enslavement to Emancipation has now scooped
a total of three awards in national competition; and, not to be left behind, Cable
Talk is making its move garnering its second national award! OCT

in 1979, the Telly Awards is the premier award honoring outstanding local, regional,
and cable television commercials and programs; the finest video and film productions;
as well as, web commercials, videos and films. Winners represent the best work
of the most respected advertising agencies, production companies, television stations,
cable operators, and corporate video departments in the world. A prestigious judging
panel of over 500 accomplished industry professionals, each a past Winner of a
First Place Telly Award, judged the competition, upholding the historical standard
of excellence that the Telly Award represents. OCT's
