Studio A
The
Office of Cable Television Studio Control Room A is used for
in-studio production of the agency's original programs, live
cablecasts of special features, and other long form programs.
This 3100 square foot, 48 feet wide, 64 foot long and 20 foot
high studio contains four Hitachi SK-888 Digital Cameras with
Listec Teleprompter capabilities on two, a 250 channel ETC
Express lighting system, 16 mike level audio inputs, 8 IFB
inputs, and a full-scale Clear Com intercom system. From the
studio, we are able to produce live, as well as live to tape
programs, ranging from one on one interviews to forums and
debates. Additionally, we have a Sony DMX-R100 48 input digital
audio mixer complimented with CD, mini CD, cassette player/recorders.
Studio
A also boasts a state-of-the-art Control Room, outfitted with
two 67" Clarity display monitors, the innovative Ross
Synergy 1 digital switcher, and a FX Deko graphic generator.
Studio A uses two videotape formats for playback and record:
DVCAM and Digital Beta, as well as an in-house Omneon digital
server with a storage capacity of 240 hours. Digital videotape
is used to insure a final product that is broadcast-standard
quality.
